Old Isleworth Market – Terms of Hire

Date: 2024

This agreement is for one or more hire periods that is ongoing, subject to the hire fee being paid in full, 14 days prior to the date of the first hire period.

In the case of cancellation or substantial changes to bookings, we ask for a minimum of one week’s notice to facilitate this. Fees will be refunded in full or applied to other bookings at the discretion of the Old Isleworth Market representatives.

Hirers are required to specify in writing the types of goods to be offered prior to booking, and to only sell goods at the market.

Hirers selling food are required to provide their business address, evidence of their food hygiene inspection certificate and must have clear up-to-date allergen information about all their products at the stall during the market.

The Hirer is responsible for ensuring that no nuisance is caused to adjoining residents or their properties.

There is no parking provision at the stalls other than in the adjacent streets.

Any furniture hired from Old Isleworth Market must only be used for the purpose intended and must be left in the condition that it was found at the beginning of the session.

Hirers should make all efforts to reduce the amount of waste produced. This may include using reusable containers, encouraging customers to provide their own containers and bags, using recyclable or compostable containers if you need to provide a single use container etc.

The market representatives reserve the right to cancel or change the booking or venue, in other exceptional circumstances. In the case of a cancellation, fees will be refunded in full to the payee. When a decision is made to cancel the event we will give as much notice as possible but please bear in mind that this may mean a decision needs to be taken with very short notice.

The hire fee will not be returned for any booked hire period(s) during which the booked space remains unused unless notice has been given as detailed above.
Stalls are available for hire between 10:00am and 15:30pm. No hiring may be extended beyond these times. This is a requirement of our license agreement with Hounslow Council.
